Since I am a volunteer, I cannot answer as the reasoning on that issue not being resolved, sorry.  Since this is an OEM motherboard, it is not a good idea to flash an Asus BIOS to this board.  Most OEM's are enough different to cause major problems or complete failure when trying to use a retail BIOS on an OEM board.  You would need to inspect the components to verify major units are the same.  If you wish to try that and find one that works, I am sure others would like to know.

OK, I appreciate that. I figured it was a long shot trying an Asus AMI bios..even though it's an Asus board. You'd think they had a version just for testing in production. I'd obviously at that point just put the mobo in a different case and use the Asus peripherals.  I appreciate your responses by the way even if were just speculating.
