Recently got this computer and went to set it up. The ethernet shows up but in network connections only the ethernet shows up, there is no option for wifi.
The network adaptors I have are:
Intel 82579LM Gigabit network connnection
WAN Miniport IKEv2, IP, IPv6, L2TP, Network Monitor, PPPOE, PPTP, SSTP
I went to HP to look up more recent drivers, thr problem is for this model they do not provide Windows 10 as an option for operating system. I tried downloading the Windows 8 to updrage it but it never did anything after downloading.

Hi:
Are you sure that your PC originally came with an internal wireless card?
99% of the 6200 Pro's only come with wired networking capabilities.
If the PC had wireless, there should be a device listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller, under an Other Devices category, if it needed a driver.
The easiest thing to do to add wireless networking capabilities to your PC, would be to purchase an external USB wireless network adapter.
You can use the most recent drivers on the support page to install any devices that still may need drivers.
