It makes sense, I will go with this one then!
But I have a question about the wattage, why does this model need 400w while the other GTX 750 Ti's only need 300w? Will I need a better PSU than 320w, or is 400w an exaggeration?

Really though, you *should be fine. It doesn't draw any more watts (60w) than any other 750 ti, and every other 750 ti that I've seen says to get a 300w psu minimum.
According to pc part picker, while using an old Sandy bridge i5 that draws 95w, this setup would use about 250w.
If I were you, I would just go for it.
But take my .02 cents for that it's worth 🙂

As far as I know, all the the 8000 series elites use the same type of connectors that are shown in the diagrams in previous pages.
A PCIe power cable will physically fit the 6 pin that is used, but DON'T try to just use a PCIe power connector in there. You will fry stuff. The wires (or rather, if and what power they supply) that are in a PCIe 6 pin are completely different from the 6 pin look alike on these computers.
Did that answer your question?

Are you talking about the converter that's listed on eBay? It looks like there already is a voltage step up converter thats installed. It's the black bit that's wrapped in heat shrink.
I don't know if it has all of the right voltages and connections, but it's pretty cheap, so it might be worth a shot.
Barnstormer has already ordered one, and will let us know when it arrives if it will work for our computers 🙂
