Hi.
I got a HP Compaq 8200 Elite Ultra Slim PC running windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I did a fresh installation of windows with all drivers and softwares, All works fine beside network Adapter, When i start my computer i see a red cross over Ethernet icon in task bar, then i have to go to device manager and Disable, Enable the Ethernet Controlller to make it work, and after doing disable enable it works fine but if i reboot the system then the same issue, it does not loading ethernet/network adapter on startup. I am stuck for last 4 days, installed reinstalled windows 8 x86, 64bit, win 7 x86, 64bit,. Updated bios to J01 V2.25,. all drivers are updated from HP website, Please. The system is in warrenty but i lost all papers related to warrenty etc. Any help is much appreciated,
thanks

Hi:
This is a consumer to consumer forum. I do not work for or represent HP.
If the PC is under warranty, you will have to contact HP technical support for the country you live in at the link below and file a support case under the warranty.

Hi:
See if the ethernet driver from Intel works...W7...

Sorry that didn't work.
I would just get an external usb to RJ-45 10/100/1000 ethernet adapter.
There is probably some kind of hardware problem with the ethernet chip.
I have the 8200 Elite CMT. Ethernet works fine under all circumstances, and on W7, W8, W8.1 and now the new W10 developer preview.
