Pavilion 500-510ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've done the complete process three times (waiting for update installation, verification, and reboot) and it keeps telling me the update is pending. System board is 2B2C 1.01, and BIOS version 80.06.

Hi Pairal,

So you have tried, this website: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-500-Desktop-PC-series/7477729/model/7769931/drivers/

Here is BIOS:

HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 2B2C) - Version (80.06 Rev.A), Release date (Dec 3, 2015):

SP73061.exe

You have done those steps if i'm correct :generic:

Yours faithfully,

Ryan

If you have no specific reason to update the bios, I suggest you do not, update failure can sometimes brick the PC, not worth the risk most of the time.

You tell me to install SP73061, but the HP support assistant tries to install SP74051 (newer?).

In the info for the update SP73061 I've read that the supported OS are Windows 7 and Windos 8.1, and I'm running Windows 10.
