HP ENVY Desktop 750-414
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How do I access the BIOS for the HP ENVY Desktop 750-414? Most of the forums say press ESC repeadedly but this doesn't work.

@ZHAD, welcome to the forum.

Tapping the Esc key every second while the computer is booting should get you to the BIOS Setup menu.  However, since it doesn't appear to be working, you should try tapping the F10 key every second while it is booting.

F10 doesn't work as well.

Thank you for the additional information, @ZHAD.

You should try F1 to see if that works.  If not, try each of the other F keys to see what happens.

If all else fails, I suggest updating the BIOS using the latest version here.  Once this is done it might solve your problem.

Updated the BIOS... still not working.

Hi,

Be sure to try ESC after just powering on the PC. Sometimes the depressing rates are not fast enough to cause the BIOS to detect the ESC key depression. It happens. And, sometimes wireless keyboards are the issue.

Review this posted article. You don't have to use the ESC key.
