Product: HP Envy 23 Beats
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi
I want to upgrade my HP Envy 23 Beats recliner from its factory-fitted i5 CPU, to an i7 CPU.
I understand that due to cooling/ventilation constraints, the TDP must be a maximum of 45W.
I've already upgraded the RAM from the factory-fitted 8GB up to 16GB. Will this impact on the power/heat overhead of the replacement i7 CPU?
Your recommendations please for the replacement i7.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi,
sorry for taking so much time:
Anyway these are the compatible i7 processors:
Intel Core i7-4765T (Haswell) 2.0 GHz Quad Core | 35 W |
Intel Core i7-4770T (Haswell) 2.5 GHz Quad Core | 45 W |
Intel Core i7-4790T (Haswell) 2.7 GHz Quad Core | 45 W |
You can see this on product specification page and motherboard spec. page:
Hope it helps,
David
