HP Recommended

I have a Desktop computer with LINUX Mint installed on it. I would like to use my HP Laserjet p1005 printer with this computer. When I connected the printer via USB to the desktop, within a minute, a message popped up saying the printer was ready to print.

 

IT DOESN'T. It simply adds each printing job to the queue. I've asked it to print a 2-page doc. three times and an HP test page twice. So now there are 5 items in the queue, but nothing happens.

Johnny, welcome to the forum.

 

Here is the HP Linux Imaging and Printing section.  This is the only driver available for Linux.
