Product: HP Pro 3400
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have replaced my HP Pro 3400 motherboard with a same type motherboard. The operating system windows 7 keeps on going to  a system restore screen. It runs windows restore tool bust still fails to restore the system. Sometimes it opens the Recovery Manager but still fails to recover the operating system.

What do you mean by "same type" motherboard?

 

The Recovery function is designed to work ONLY with the same make and model, HP OEM motherboard, as was originally in the PC.

 

It will not work with other motherboards.
