Hi, I am trying to log into my computer and have a screen HP SimplePass -Confirm Windows Password. HP SimplePass requrires that you confirm your Windows passoword before you can continue.   User name is ok, Domain is ok. These are greyed out but are correct.  It asks for a New Password and to Confirm new password.  I have tried the password that I used a day ago when I was setting up the PC and it does not work and whenever i type a new password and confirm it it doesnt recognie it.

So you can log into your Windows 10 account:

To set up HP SimplePass on Windows 10, it is necessary for you have assigned a PIN number.  You can use your PIN number to sign into the computer.

Click on the Login Screen > Click Sign-in Options > select the icon for either your PIN number or your Windows logon (microsoft account or local login account) > use the PIN or your password to log into your computer

If this system was migrated to Windows 10 and / or you installed the an older version of the Series 8 HP SimplePass, then you want to update to the latest version of SimplePass before you use it.

Latest Series 8 HP SimplePass:

Assuming you are using any version of the Series 8 HP SimplePass (version 8.x), you can install the "latest" version over the top of your existing program.

Reboot after you install the software...

You should be able to continue to use your existing Validity Sensor (fingerprint) Driver:
