Well the link for ver. 9.4.105.0 seemed to work and installed without issue. Let's see how long it lasts. 🙄

a couple of months ago, i updated from ver. 8 to ver. 9, wich was available for download on the product support page of my Pavilion 15-CS. After updating my Win 10 Pro to 1903 i had the problem, that nothing happened after klicking "there is a new Version for HP-Support Assistant…" after opening the programm. This was the reason, why i tried to un- and reinstall the HPSA, which allways ends in ERROR 183. I only could install ver. 8

In one case it was possible to reinstall ver. 9, when i unzip the installation-file and navigate to the "HPSA9x" Folder and execude the ".appxbundle" file (i stored back my Acronis-Image, so i could test multiple scenarios).

Yesterday i opened the Microsoft-Store and recognized, that there was an update available for the "HP Support-Assistant" - the HPSA itself gives me the same Information, but here it wasn`t possible to update.

Now the HPSA was updated via Microsoft-Store from ver. 9.5.187.0 to 9.5.189.0 and everything works fine.

Today i get again the Information, that there is an uptate available, while opening the HPSA.

Now, after klicking on "i want to update" the Microsoft-Store Window Pops up and i could run the next update.

Now i run ver. 9.5.2xx.0

But the problem, that a new installation of the HPSA ends in ERROR 183 still occours.

Like you after upgrading to Ver.9 yesterday following the link that someone posted, I was prompted to update via Windows Store to 9.5.192.0. I updated and still everything appears to be working fine. I've had no further update prompts to 9.5.2 yet though.

I'm expecting 'something' to go wrong though as I thought Ver. 9 was for Windows 10 S machines only?

We shall see...

@ spillo when you said that you could install going to 9x folder and click appxbundle  HPSA version 9 installed through store ty 🙂

PS still its weird because on the MS store description this is for PC in S mode...  someone from HP to clarify ?
