HP t510

Hi there,

we need to run citrix receiver v 4.3 on our HP t510s which run on embedded standard 2009 which comes with IE8 only.

Citrix 4.3 only runs under IE9 or higher though.

What options do we have to get this to work?

a) buy new thin clients that run under windows embedded 7 --> We would like to avoid this

b) upgrade the t510 to windows embedded 7 --> is this possible at all? If yes, what do we need to consider?

c) are there any updates for embedded 2009 that would allow to run IE9 or higher?

d) we also have several old HP t5730 and t5740e in storage that run on HP thin Pro. Any way we can have IE9 or higher run on them?

Thanks in advance for your support!

According to Microsofts Lifecycle Matrix no newer Internet Explorer is supported on WES 2009: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17454/lifecycle-support-policy-faq-internet-explorer b) This is not possible or only possible if you have a License Agreement with Microsoft. d) Those units are even older than the t510 so no possibility.
