Hello,

 

I have upgraded to Windows 10 but this has left me with a problem. 

The internal TVtuner funcionallity is now no longer working.

I uunderstand this is due to Widnows Media Centre being taken down by Microsoft.

 

 Are there any instructions on how to configure this PC with any recomended media player/TV tuner suite software?

 

 I have not had success in getting any non-wmc softare to scan for channels.

 

I'm really disappointed as the PC was bought specifically to be  the centre peice of my entertainment system and has been for some time and the TV player & recording functions are vital.

 

Please help?

Because Windows 10 does not have a Media Center component, a third party software may do what is desired. HERE IS A LIST of PVR software packages.  Scroll through the list to see if any of those might work in your situation.   What type of signal is available for viewing?  The TV card says it can support " digital DVB-T transmission standard"

Hello,

any news on this topic? I am wondering whether to upgrade to Win10 my HP touchsmat 520-1020it, which is working perfectly under Win7, but definitely I don't want to loose the TV tuner functionality, including the remote control.

 

Has anyone checked MediaPortal on Win10 or other similar software that might do the job?

 

The key point is to point out whether the tuner driver, coupled with another software, will work or not..
