OMG, this actually worked! Thank you MRS TUFTS!! My montior was displaying the OSD Lockout message, no input signal, etc. I started researching a new monitor, but in the meantime pryed open my HP monitor (only used a butter knife and screw driver), disconnected the wire connected to menu buttons, put it back together, and on a wish and a prayer my monitor works again!! Hallelujah!! Thanks MRS TUFTS!!

Hello everyone. If you are experiencing issues with OSD lockout, there is an HP document that contains troubleshooting for this issue. You can locate it in this post: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Audio-Video-Monitors/HP-W2207h-LCD-MONITOR-HOW-TO-TURN-OFF-OSD-...
This issue typically occurs when the power button is pressed for more than 10 seconds, on select computers. It will disable access to the OSD menu, and other features. If the troubleshooting in this document does not assist you, please let me know, since further troubleshooting will likely be required.

Someone has a manual on how to open the HP w2207h ?
I remember that I was trying to open it but at one point, I did not know what to do then.
Now a similar problem appeared again, and it becomes worse and worse.
I want to try to fix it myself by opening the monitor and cut the wires connected to the menu buttons like some mebers suggested.
Anybody have i image tutorial or something similar?
EDIT:
I have successfully fixed the monitor myself.
Just follow this video I found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OG4GQp_avhg
Its very well explained. In my case, the menu was always popping up, so as many suggested...I opened the monitor according the video and I just unplugged the cable at the "buttons board" (its this tiny white little thing...).
Good Luck to everyone else, I hope I could help you with my answer.
