when I try to print it says that the printer is in Error mode and will not print?

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that your HP Officejet 8610 printer says it is in error mode. I would like to help you resolve this issue. 

 

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • When did this issue start?
  • Did you do any changes on the printer recently?
  • How is the printer connected to computer, USB or Wireless?

Meanwhile:

  • Perform a hard reset on the printer.
  • Remove the power cable from the printer when it is turned on.
  • Press and hold the power button for 60secs.
  • Connect the power cable to printer and directly to wall outlet.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.
