wave 600-a003nb
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The wave formfactor is a great proposal. However, being meant to be positioned on the desk, in a living room or directly next to you we have a ventilator noise issue with it.

No resolve from helpdes or Hp, we've even sent in two sound samples asking if it only is our model or if this is a general issue.

The vents make a contstant humming sound that is louder than the music or dialogue.

Does anyone have a Wave that makes more noise than the background music? Or is yours whisper silent

It does have the AMD dedicated graphics card, perhaps only these models have this issue?

We asked the vendor, sugested to ship it back. Didn't get an answer if other models do make the same abundend noise (as if you didn't clean out your pc over the last 5 years) so hesitating to ask a replacement.

thanks for your comments and info.

PS: it strikes me how the 'quality of silence' has degraded over the last five years. or is this only our impression
