HP s5710f
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP s5710f.  I'm trying to find the answer to a simple question but can't find it ANYWHERE.  QUESTION: Which TYPE of DVI does this PC have?  By the LOOKS of it, I can deduce that it is DVI-D (DIGITAL), NOT DVI-I (INTEGRATED).  So all I really need to know is whether the DVI-D is SINGLE or DUAL LINK.  The DVI port on the PC looks like a DVI-D DUAL LINK...it has 24 pin holes (8x3 grid) and a single flat pin hole).  But I have read that most DVI-D ports and cables, be they SINGLE or DUAL LINK,  are designed with this layout, even though the actual supported DVI type may only be SINGLE LINK (because a SINGLE LINK will plug into either a SINGLE or DUAL LINK).  I bought a monitor with a DVI port, and it, too, has what  LOOKS like a DVI-D DUAL LINK port, but the cable that came with the monitor is a DVI-D SINGLE LINK (18 pins--two, 3x3 grids and 1 flat pin).  SO, I mainly want to know if the PC is DUAL or SINGLE LINK because if its DUAL LINK, then I am kinda wasting it, in that I'm only using a SINGLE LINK cable.  And if my research is correct, a DUAL LINK DVI can just about double the possible resolution allowed by a SINGLE LINK DVI.  It seems to me that because there are several "varieties" of DVI, the specific type should be listed in a product's specifications.  So far, however, most spec sheets simply list "DVI."  Thanks in advance for any help.  I have attached a picture of the DVI port on the back of the HP desktop, on the back of the  monitor I bought, and the pin layout of the DVI cable that came with the monitor...hope it is helpful.

I checked the specification of your computer and the DVI port on your computer is DVI – D dual link. Please refer to the below link for more information.
