HP w2338h Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
So this monitor is from April 09, and I've have no issues with it until now.
When I boot it up, the monitor will occasionally be vigorously flashing on and off again. Just now, it continued to turn off and back on, and while it did, the display on the screen would change colors and even shake.
I'm no expert on this, so I'm not 100% sure if it's the CPU or the monitor itself.
My computer is an HP Pavilion p6210y, and its graphics card is NVIDIA Geforce 9100, and was also recently updated as of November.
Also, when I start the computer, it occasionally displays the blue HP bootup screen, and sometimes it won't. When it doesn't, I notice that that's when the screen starts flashing quickly. When it has the blue startup screen, it's pretty much all good for a while.
During use, it'll randomly turn off and back on continuously until the Amber light comes on and tells me that it is going into sleep mode. It says I have no connection via HDMI or VGA, when I clearly do and have checked multiple times.
I would like to know if there's some sort of ongoing issue, maybe a malware, or if I just need a new monitor.
Please help! Thank you!

@KaniYuuki, welcome to the forum.

Here is a comprehensive guide to help you troubleshoot the monitor's behavior.  Read it carefully and follow the instructions.  Also, you should update the video driver: Device Manager / Display adapters / Right click on your adapter / Update Driver Software / Automatically update driver software.
