HP z440

I have a z440 workstation with the following configuration:

  • Z440/ZC2.8/256K/16Bb/310AA/kpA US  CONFIGURED UNIT
  • HP Z440 525W 85Percent Efficient Chassis  CHASSIS
  • Win 10 Pro 64 Downgrade Win 7 64 US  O/S
  • 16GB DDR4-2133 (2x8GB) RegRAM  MEMORY x 4
  • NVIDIA NVS 310 1GB 1st GFX  VIDEO GRAPHICS
  • 256GB SATA Solid State Drive x 2
  • 500GB SATA WD BLACK x 3
  • 9.5mm Slim SuperMulti DVDRW 1st ODD  OPTICAL STORAGE DEVI
  • Intel Ethernet I210-T1 PCIe NIC  LAN
  • HP Processor Air Cooling Kit  TECHNICAL AV
  • Intel Xeon E5-1603v3 2.8 10M 1866 4C CPU  PROCESSOR

The current power supply configuration:

1 mini-sata power -> 9.5mm Slim SuperMulti DVDRW 1st ODD  OPTICAL STORAGE DEVI

2 sata power -> 256GB SATA Solid State Drive x 2

1 molex -> molex to 2 sata power converter -> 500GB SATA WD BLACK x 2

With this power supply only giving the three connectors used above, I cannot attach the third WD Black drive for a RAID 5 configuration.

I have researched HP's site/the web for information on the specs of the 525 W PS vs the 700 W PS but cannot find anything regarding if the 700 W provides additional connectors.

Does anyone know where the specs for the 525W and 700W power supplies can be found?

Thanks

Either purchase a molex splitter then add another 1 molex -> molex to 2 sata power converter or a Sata splitter
