One of our customers is now loading management and antimalware software on their thin clients. Because of this we've had to expand the RAMdisk from 256mb to 512mb. With over 50 thins in offices scattered across 4 states, physically getting to each box to make the change would be headache. Is there not some way to do this with a template from within HP Device Manager.?

Hi,

The RAM drive is a simple registry setting

“HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\RamDrive\Parameters\Disksize”

My suggestions is:

1. Manually change the RAM drive to 512MB on a test machine

2. Capture the registry settings via HPDM

3. Deploy the captured registry to another test thin client and see if it works.

Then Deploy the registry to rest of your thin clients.
