Hard Drive replacement

HP Recommended
HP Envy Phoenix 810-370st
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This morning I received a warning that HARD DRIVE FAILURE IMMINENT.  I want to replace the drive ASAP.

I currently have a 3TB 7200RPM SATA 6G 3.5 hard drive

I also have 16GB disc cache SSD.

Is this cache part of the hard drive?

I have been looking at Seagate SSHD 4TB (64M cache) as the replacement.

The SUPPORT PAGE for that model indicates that a 4TB drive is an option, so it seems resonable that you can replace the failing 3TB with a 4TB.  Since the 16GB is being used for a cache, it might be prudent to clone the failing drive to the new one, and do it outsie of the computer.  IMHO, to avoid problems, clone the drive with the Seagate cloning software using a different computer and USB to SATA adapters.
