Hi Guys!
I recently purchased an HP Pavilion Slimline s5xt. I have discovered that I need a firewire port so I need to install this PCI express card. Make my day...PLEASE tell that this is possible.
Here is the link to the card I need to install:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002S53IG8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A2XNAOBSW0CZDL
Please let me know.
Thanks for your help!

Hi:
This link to the motherboard specs for your specific model confirms the existence of 3 PCIe x1 slots, any of which can be used for the PCIe x1 firewire card you plan on purchasing.
Since the package specs indicate you get both the low profile and regular profile mounting brackets, your bases are covered.

Hi:
I can't find your exact model number.
Here is a link to all Slimline 5s's
They show support for the PCIe x1 firewire card you want.
Please post your product number so I can confirm this.
