How do I adjust keyboard sensitivity

I have a wired keyboard and Windows 10.  I have had my pc for only a few weeks.  I have to pound the keys on my keyboard to type.  If I type normally, about 25% of the keys I hit don't work (letters won't appear on the screen.)  I might have to take the keyboard off my old 10 year old pc.  I have an HP Pavilion.

I had the same problem, but I have a wireless keyboard for my HP TouchSmart PC.   After more than 3 years I have just gotten used to it and the problem basically no longer exists.  I think keyboards simply have a different feel, or level of force needed to use.  I think my keyboard has softened a bit with use, but not alot.  I think you options are get used to it, or replace it.  there is no adjustment possible.

My solution to this problem is to use a remote keyboard as I find the Pavilion g6 keyboard not fit for purpose.  Alternatively I use my wife's Samsung Notebook - a wonderfully smooth sensitive keyboard.  I rue the day I bought HP.
