Hi,
Clipboard ONLY keep the last copy action (using right click, copy or Ctrl+C). Paste action (or Ctrl+V) normally will "paste" the contents on the clicpboard back and the clipborad will be overwitten by the next copy action. You can not retrieve the contan(s) before that. The reason I say normally because sometimes we can not paste the clipboard for example copy an image and paste to Notpad.
There are few small programs which allow you to view the clipboard such as these. You may want to try them:
http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/AccessClipboard
http://mintywhite.com/vista/view-contents-clipboard-windows-7/
Regards.
