How can I access the BIOS on my HPE-520? My system contains only a HP 2.4 GHz wireless keyboard, so after booting my keyboard isn't found before Windows is Running. This PC don't have a PS2 connector and an USB keyboard won't work before Windows is running... How can I enter the BIOS or change VT-settings?

Hi,

You can use the USB wired Keyboard and then access BIOS.

Hi,

You can enter BIOS by tapping F10 key  when you turn ON the unit or tap ESC key when you turn ON & then it will ask you to Which screen you want to enter. You can select BIOS setup from the list.

Hi, thank you for your quick response. Hitting F10 or ESC during booting is only possible if you have a WIRED keyboard. I use a wireless keyboard and I don't have the ability to connect a wired keyboard, because there's no PS2 connector on my HPE-520. When I boot my PC I only displays 'Keyboard Error'. When Windows 7 is started I can use my keyboard because at that moment my wireless drivers are fully loaded. Not sooner. I can change my question to 'How can I connect a wired keyboard to my HPE-520'.

Thanks in advance

I bought a new 'Real' USB keyboard this morning and it works! The other wired keyboard had a PS2/USB adapter on it, but with this one I can finally access the BIOS. Thank you!
