I still have a lil problem. Both fans of the power supply and of the new fan I just fixed turn very slowly which causes the system to heat. What shall I do exactly to increase the speed of both fans: power supply and case system fan. Well everything is new here computer and all fans are new. So I don't doubt that's a problem of a material failure. Thank you.

CyberHaddad,
As your system ran without the fan, then using this adapter would not cause a problem. It will make the new fan run at full speed :http://www.svc.com/3pinto4pinad.html
BTW, where did you actually plug the fan into the motherboard? Just curious.

Hello again wb2001
In one of your previous posts you said:
I snipped and rotated your board. It appears to be brown in color.
plug is supposed to be this
Therefore it was exactly there where I plugged the new fan.

OK again it's solved
I solved the isuue of the fans speed using SpeedFan software ... that's all I could do since I found no settings dealing with that.
Now it's amazing. Now the new fan is running real fast without making noise or omething.
Thanks everyone for your great help
