When I press delete the item removes from my laptop straight away, is there an option I can have where I will get a pop up to confirm I want to remove the item?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Sorry, I can't answer your question without more details.

You said you "press delete" -- what application are you using?

Are you deleting a file?

Normally, when you use File Explorer to delete a file what it actually does is flag it for deletion and add that file to the Recycle Bin -- where is stays before actually being deleted.

We can proceed when you provide the information.

Thanks
