HP ProDesk 600 G1 Small Form
Linux

Hi Support Center,

Recently I bought few HP ProDesk 600 G1 Small Form Factor PC to install Linux distributions in my working place. I have a problem with installing Linux distributions on this perticular PC. I tried CentOS 6.3, CentOS 6.4, Ubuntu 14.04, etc. but I am not able to start the boot process. Why this is happening ?

Please explain what you mean by the following sentence.

"but I am not able to start the boot process"

Press the power button and look at the screen to see which key you need to press to enter the boot menu. There are options. You can press the power button and immediately begin tapping the F9 key to go straight to the boot options. With Otherwise you can choose to start tapping the F10 key to enter the BIOS. In the BIOS, go to the System Configuration tab in the BIOS and click on Boot options.

The following link goes to a simulator for your PC's BIOS.

That statement that you made and I quoted, leads me to think that you are new to this. Am I right about that?

You should consider using RUFUS to make you installation media.  Create UEFI installation media and boot to it. Use the following link. There is also an exhaustive list of and links to many operating systems ISO files at the bottom of the page.

Please try with CentOS 6.3, OS installation failed, after chaging BIOS settings (reading some linux forums) USB drivers crashing, SATA port is not detecting, etc. I will post my all steps later because need to list down all with some photos to show.
