As I understand the integrated speakers on your HP 2009m Monitor stopped working, Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details.

When did this start to happen?

Did it happen after an update?

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

Ensure the source signal is good by using headphones at the source. the

■ Press the Menu button to access the OSD menu. Select Management, and then select Volume to adjust the volume.

■ Turn up the volume with the front panel volume button.

■ Ensure speaker volume is not muted or too low: Click the Windows Start Button, Control Panel, and Hardware and Sound. Under Audio Devices and Sound, click Adjust system volume. Under Main Volume, move the slider up

Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi @Mercy_Jhonson39,

Thank you for replying,

I appreciate your time and efforts,

I understand you are still having the issue with the internal speakers, just wanted to check if you have tried connecting an external speaker or a headphone and check if that works.

If the headphone or external speakers don't work, I would suggest you to run a test on the sound card from F2 (please remember to capture the failure ID for further assistance).

If the external speakers or the headphone works, which clearly indicates that the issue is with the internal speakers. The best thing, I would suggest here is to replace the monitor.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.
