HP Recommended
Ubuntu LTS

i have installed the HP Linux firmware flash tool on Ubuntu 24, extracted the .bin from the .exe, and built and installed the uefi kernal module.  When I run sudo hp-flash, I get 'Flash query failed'.  Secure boot is not enabled.   SPI interface is exposed, and /dev/mem exists.  I have power-cycled the PC, still get the same error.  The PC was built in 2020, and uses a 2019 BIOS, so from my understanding, this should work.  What could be causing this?
