After changing the boot sequence in the bios and exiting and saving the changes, a black screen appeared reading "Default BIOS settings have been loaded." the computer freezes each time at this point. Since then I have tried to fix the problem by resetting the bios by removing the CMOS battery and using the jumper rest on the board. This has not fixed my problem. How may I fix this problem?

Hello
You have posted this question again.
Good troubleshooting steps!
Your PC is around six years old. CR 2032 batteries can begin to fail at this age.
This symptom may have nothing to do, and should have nothing to do, with changing the boot order in the BIOS.
Buy a new CR 2032 battery and install in the motherboard.
Motherboard could be in trouble if this does not help. Start troubleshooting by testing each component until you find the cause.
