I have the HP W2072a monitor and while taking a class online today, the Power Button Lock-Out sessage box popped up in the middle of the screen. I have tried holding the power button down and I have tried unplugging the monitor but the monitor won't shut off. What else can I try. I was taking notes for the class when this happened so I am not sure how the it went into lock-out mode in the first place.

- I tried everything but there is no communication between the PC and the monitor. The PC screen turns black as soon as I connect the VGA cable. The power light on the monitor continues to blink white.
- Thanks I bought another HP from Kijiji and that’s working just fine. Regretfully this one has to go to recycle now. I am quite sure the video card is not working.
