Hello,
I have been having issues since I connected my second monitor to my HP Pavilion 500-101a Desktop PC. I originally had a 23" Samsung monitor attached to my computer. I recently attached a Dell 23.6" as my second monitor. When I am using my computer at some point both monitors will go black and a message saying they have lost signal will pop up. The VGA connected monitor says something along the lines of No VGA Sinal. The power light is still on the desktop tower. When this happens I have tried unplugging and replugging the cables connected to the tower as well as the power cables. Still nothing. The only thing that works is holding the power button on the tower to force the computer to shut down. If you turn it back on shortly after I only lasts about 30mins or less before it does the same thing again. This happened a couple of times in the last 2 years when I just had the Samsung monitor. Since I have plugged in the second one it has happend 4 times in 1 week.
I have no idea what to do and would love to still be able to use 2 monitors. Can someone please help if they can.

Hi! @ENG11, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!
I understand your monitor keeps losing the signal randomly and you get the error No VGA signal.
Don't worry I'd love to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?
Have you tried checking with a different VGA cable?
If the monitor is connected to an add-on PCI/PCI-E graphics card, try re-seating the card (ie remove the card, then push it firmly back into the slot).
Also, uninstall the video drivers from device manager and update the latest video drivers.
To uninstall try the steps mentioned below.
Go to windows desktop
Hold Windows key + Letter R key.
Run dialog box would open type devmgmt.msc
Device manager window will open.
Expand Display adapter, right click on the video driver and click uninstall.
Restart your PC.
Update the AMD graphics driver using this link.
Also, update the BIOS using this link.
Let me know if this works!
Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂

I am the The_Fossette. It looks like you were interacting with @MrRobot, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.
Perfect, I am really glad to hear that!
If any other questions arise, please feel free to write back to me.
Good day! Take care 🙂
