HP ALL -IN-ONE-20R105LA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I turn on my computer it produces 2 sets of beeps as follows: 3 long beeps and 4 short beeps. What does it mean?  After the beeps the computer works well, but the beeps at the beginning are annoying. Can they be eliminated?

Hi @VOTA,

Welcome to HP Forums!

I have read your post and wanted to help.

I understand that your computer porduces 2 sets of beeps: 3 long beeps and 4 short beeps at the start up.

Here is a link of the Beep and LED code descriptions. I did not find a match of your product number. Please double check your product number. HP All-In-One Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

Looking forward to your reply!

Hi @VOTA,

Thank you for the reply!

You can try to restore the system back to one point that it did not have the beeps:

HP PCs - Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 10, 😎

Also, you can run the hardware failure tests:

Let me know if these help.

Had the same exact issue with my Hp all in one. 3 long then 4 short beeps, both with different pitch, and it wouldn't turn on either. I found a quick process that worked. Unplug the power cable > press and hold the power button for 15 seconds > release power and plug back in. Fire it up and it should work, unless there is some other issue with it. But mine fired right up after I did that
