I did a search: http://www.bing.com/search?q=Pavilion+7850

It appears that HP has removed all device-driver information from their web-site.

Not surprising, given that Microsoft support for Windows XP ended in April 2014 -- almost 3 years ago.

It is time for you to buy a new PC, and transfer all your files from "old" to "new".

It is doubtful that you are receiving "new" updates -- but any updates posted to Windows Update before May 2014 are still available.

Microsoft announced the "sunset" of security-updates for Windows XP was April 2014.

After that date, some very-large businesses paid Microsoft for "private" support -- because they were lagging in their migration away from XP.

I'm sure that the only update your Windows XP system is receiving is the monthly anti-virus scanner, that does a "one-time" virus-scan, and the Windows Security Essentials anti-virus definitions (if you had downloaded/installed that program).

Open Windows Update on your XP system, and "view installed updates", and sort by date, and tell us what updates have been applied in 2015 and 2016 and 2017.

Here's an example:  http://leic.lumension.com/patches/2016/%7B6E4C45AE-53CD-4809-860E-C709B2074412%7D.html

titled "MS16-001 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows Vista x64 (KB3124275)".

Read it, and you'll see no mention of any update applicable to a Windows XP system.

So, any vulnerability in Internet Explorer 6 or 7 or 8 under Windows XP (32-bit or 64-bit) was not fixed in January 2016.
