Welp, I finally got the so-called "recovery manager" to install on the USB stick and it happily made a backup of the drive.  However, that is where it has ended.  The dang thing has been run four times, after the backup, and each and every time it gets to about the 99% mark and flipping fails.

Can you wonder why I am so irritated with HP right about now?  They have fixes that don't fix and a company that cares not about their customers.  And I am still ashamed to say that the older models run better than the newer stuff!  It is almost unbelievable the way they treat their customers, even if their only goal is to rake in the money and screw us over.

I'm tired and it's late and I need a shower.  Then to bed.  I guess I'll try again tomorrow, but I am pretty certain that HP will, in absolutely no fashion, either help or care.

Okay.

All over.

Cost me over $40.00 but I guess I'll have to take what I can get.

Thanks for the help.

Bye.
