HP PCI-2S1P
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

1)  I'm trying to install an HP PCI-2S1P pci parallel port expansion card in my desktop.  Win 7 doesn't automatically recognize card and when I do a driver search none can be found so far.  So is there a driver out there somewhere that might work for this?

2)  I've also tried this card in my older XP desktop.  It is recognized by XP, shows up in device manager with no apparent conflicts but my HP laser printer wont print even though it will print when I hook it up to my old XP laptop (so I know the printer and the printer cord are ok).

Any suggestions out there?

Hi:

Did you try the driver from this link?  It's on the right side of the page.

Thank you for your response; finally found it in my junk mail for some reason.

I just tried that driver and the printer still won't print a test page or otherwise. Device Manager says the driver for this device is not installed (code 28). Update driver says Windows could not find driver online. Don't know where to go from here.

Any other suggestions besides "drop five and punt"?

You're very welcome.

Sorry that driver didn't work.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
