Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

Hi,

 

I'm having trouble locating driver for PCI Simple Communications controller for Windows XP.

 

The hardware ID is

 

PCI\VEN_1221&DEV_8601&SUBSYS_86011221&REV_00\5&3AD81390&0&0000E4

Hi:

 

All I can tell you is that the device is made by Contec.

 

I cannot find any drivers for it.

 

I checked this site and explored the driver files and none of the setup information files contained the DEV ID you posted, just the 1221.

It certainly wasn't original equipment for an HP computer, so HP will not have any drivers for that device.

 

I suggest you contact the manufacturer and see if they can provide the correct driver for the device.

They also have a bunch of downloads for their products at the link below...You are going to have to know exactly what type of device is installed in your PC to narrow down your search.
