Microsoft Windows Vista

when i push power start button, it lit then goes off in  about 2 second. I tried pushing it longer, still turns off.

I am not sure if this is related to storms we had last week. could it be something else other than power supply?

Did your home have any power outages or possible power surges during the storms?

The only way, I know of, to diagnose what component has failed is to start swapping in known good replacement components.

Possible damaged parts could be:

1. Power supply

2. Motherboard or any component connected to the motherboard.

Best option, if you don't have replacement parts, is to take your PC to a local tech. There is no other way to find the bad component or components.
