Bought 2 refurb 6200 pro machines. One i3 WIN10HOME and one i5WIN10PRO. Installed 2 PATRIOT PSD34G133381 4gb each in the i3. Worked. Installed 2 more for 16mb, freaked out on power up, Mem size error, beep, then proceeded to boot, just got blue screen errors alot after that. Went back to 8gb. Stable now.

The i5 wont take any of these ram sticks without freakout on boot. Running mish mash of 4 2gb junk refurb ram to operate on. Clocking slow. Same mem size boot error. Maybe different bus speed than i3?

And 32gb max? Having hard time getting 16 to work. But Crucial system scanner says 32gb max.

At this point, if i were to try to get to 32gb, I would take the machine in and let a tech do it. Have a feeling it would be a handful.
