I just bought my new HP laptop. I would like for the sound to be louder especially when I play videos and listen to music. I am considering purchasing new external speakers. But, I would like to know how many watts my current speakers put out.
So, how can I find out the wattage of my current speakers?
Thanks.

Hi,
Unfortunately no information around. But for a normal laptop, from 1.5W to 2.5W each speaker is the number.

Thanks Banhien.
I had a thought and plugged in some speakers that are on a desktop (Dell) computer in the house. They are probably about 5 watts based on their size. Although the sound was somewhat more crisp and clear, it wasn't any louder.
So, I will probably have to go with speakers that are about 25 watts or so.
Thanks again for responding!
