I get the error massage 'System fan has failed, press F2 to continue'. It's showing up because i haven't got a fan connector in my motherboard. Since i upgraded my computer it boots in 14 seconds. but i lose much time on the press F2 to continue screen. I'm running Windows 7 home premium. Is there a way to disable the message?
P.s. Please don't say that i have to put the fan connector back in, i've now got it in a different case that uses molex connectors, that go directly into the PSU.

Have you checked in BIOS setup for a setting to turn off fan monitoring? On older model Pavilions there was an Advanced sreen where you could do that, but some of the newer models seem to be missing that option.

Any fan has two wires and requires to be connected to a power supply in this case 12volts. Your are getting a note that fan is not connected, as the heat sensor on the motherboard is sensing temperature is rising. Sooner that later your motherboard will over heat or even burn out. Fans are installed in computers for thar reason.

The problem I have is that when connecting the chassis fan is not spinning. Tried different, expected to issue in the connector. How do I disable this message in the BIOS at boot I have found. Advise?
