How can you find the device ID for thin client t520 as we have tried and unable to find this info. With out I am unable to add it to device manager 4.6 which we are currently setting up but now need to capture an image but with out the device ID we are unable to add the thin cleint

Just for reference the device name is the MAC address, I ended up manaually adding the device to HP device manager by configuring the HP device manager gateway on the actual thin client it self and then finally showed on device manager and the device id being shown is the MAC address.

Thanks,
I did notice when I finally managed to add the thin client as you described above by manaully adding the gateway address on the thin client itself and noticed that the device ID and MAC are the same. I have succesfully managed to capture and image and deploy it without issues. I have created DHCP tag 202 on our DHCP server and now it automatically picks up all the thin cleints that we are deploying which makes things so much easier. I did notice that when creating the dhcp tag it states to create a new vendor class but this doesn't seem to work, I just added it the dhcp scope for current VLAN that the devices are located on.
