Hi,
I have a new HP Envy 23 with Touch smart screen. The touch screen is extremely sensitive and acts sometimes on it's own. It can close windows, tap out of documents when I am typing and is generally very frustrating.
It is worse in warm weather.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks

Hi hpenvy2314,
I understand you are having trouble with the touchscreen functionality? Try this link, click here, specifically the last section entitled, "A touch occurs next to the point touched, not at the point of touch." Not sure it will be the solve all, but it's a good place to start. Also, this document is for Windows 8, so if you're using a different operating system, please let me know, and I can find you a different document. Thanks and good luck.

I gather you are having difficulties with the functionality of your Touchpad. Did you try the solution provided by Ryan1216 ( 2nd post down), if so what were the results? You could try running the HP Support Assistant,to assist with resolving issue and updating drivers. HP Support Assistant click here.
