My computer details.

I am using an Insignia USB to VGA Adapter.

My computer recognizes this ACER monitor, which is the external one, yet the screen on it is black.

Also, oddly enough the HP graphics settings don't show it, and will not detect it.

However, the normal display settings show it as a 2nd display, however it won't 'detect'....

When I screenshot my screen, it notices there is another display..

When I paste it into paint, there is another empty screen with my desktop, just the image, no icons, nothing else.

I also have downloaded the insignia drivers from their website..

What should I do from here?...

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I have a similar USB-to-VGA adapter and mine did not work in Win10 until the provider (DisplayLink) updated their drivers to work in Win10.

If your display is not working, this is most likely a driver problem -- and you will have to take this up with Insignia.

Good Luck
