HP Pavilion p7-1120
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have a HP Pavilion p7-1120 that is getting a Corrupt Windows error when trying to log on. Tried to go through troubleshooting with recovery and reset, both failed. Trying to use a Disc but when prompted to "press any key" non of the key on the keyboard load the Disc. Also tried to access the Bios or any of the F key funsctions with no luck. There is no PS/2 port, and have tried 3 different keyboards, 1 of them is from HP. I have tried different USB port, but all the keyboards work when it takes you to advanced repair options. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I see from the post that you are having issues with the keyboard not working on your HP Desktop PC. I appreciate the steps you have performed so far and have certainly done a great job. Don’t worry I’ll try my best to help you with this,

After reviewing your post, I understand you have already tried 3 different keyboards and none of them working on any USB ports, definitely this seems to be a hardware issue with the computer. I would personally suggest you contact our HP phone support for available service related options. If your product is out of warranty, don’t forget to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.
