Hello,

My question is a missing driver i think? I install window XP professional on a compaq presario SR1750NX.. all drivers were installed successfully expect for a unkown device. I use a unkown driver finder program and it says its a PCI standard ISA brige with a yellow question mark. Im have the most trouble finding this device... Wanted to see what  this is?

THanks

Windows plug and play for isa bridge over PCI: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa940468

Did you right-click and select update driver while connected to the Internet? Have downloaded all the latest service packs from Microsoft?

Please download the chipset drivers for your desktop to resolve the problem:

Hmmm, if it twere me, I'd install the lateset compatible chipset drivers. Since you changed the OS to professional - HP is not going to have it.

Your board uses ATI Radeon Xpress 200

I believe you need to install from the AMD download page: http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

Upper right :

 Component = Motherboard

Product line = Redeon Xpress series

Model = Radeon Xpress 200

OS = XP 32 or 64 (Prof is not listed).

Hi,

That is AMD Power Management Away Mode Driver.

Please click on the URL given below.

http://data.versiontracker.com/drivers/manual/msi/AMDAway_MB.zip

Click Save, choose Desktop, and click Save, Click Open on Download completed window, Double click on the Setup file to install it, The Unknown Device will disappear from Device Manager window,

Thank You,

hello,

thanks again, I checked out that ATI driver website....upon going on with the install i get a popup saying "ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 series has not passed window logo testing........continuing your installation may impair or destabilize the correct operation of my system......should I continue or will this mess up my OS??

Continue - that is a comon error that means the drivers they developed were not officially verified and bought off by Microsoft.

It will not create any issues, please go ahead and install ATI Driver.

If the Unknown device still appear, install the AMD awayMode Driver from the Zip file given above

Thank You.
