Hello guys,
I'm trying to upgrade my current GPU (gtx 550 Ti) with a new one: GIGABYTE GV-N660OC-2GD.
However, when I connected the new GPU, computer booted up to the HP logo screen, then stopped responding. The old GPU works fine.
My motherboard is Pegatron 2AB5. Tried BIOS update, it was a pain to find, but I managed to locate it. Didn't help though.
Is this motherboard simply not compatible with modern GPUs? It kinda defeats the Phoenix's marketing keypoint of being an upgrade-friendly system. Is there any way to know which GPU I could upgrade to then?
Perhaps there's not enough power? The computer has 600Wt.
I would appreciate any assistance.

This is a NVIDIA Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Add-On expansion card.
Per Specifications, Power Requirement: 450 Watts

Hi there,
Thanks for your reply!
This is to confirm that the following GPU is compatible with Pegatron 2AB5 motherboard:
MSI GeForce GTX 750Ti Twin Frozr, N750TI TF 2GD5/OC
The Hybrid BIOS physical switch needs to be set to "1" per the link below. The default position is "2".

Sorry, I really don't remember where'd I get it. I think it was even intended for a different motherboard, but through research I came to the conclusion that it fit mine as well, and turned out to be right.
All I remember is that I've got it from one of HP's websites somewhere.
Note that it didn't solve the problem for me at all though, and for other people who tried a BIOS update, too! What you need is a GPU that is compatible with Legacy BIOS (Not UEFI). The latest and most powerful GPU that accomplishes this seems to be the 750Ti from MSI I've mentioned above. If you manage to find something ever more powerful that will work with the Pegatron 2AB5 MoBo, please post it here.
