Slimline 450-121
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all

I currently own the slimline 450-121 and i would like to upgrade the graphic card to this card MSI Geforce GTX LP it requires a 300w power supply. The system right now is only 180w, when i purchased the card I also bought this power supply  which is just a bit to tall and wont fit into the case.  I tried calling support yesterday and after 40 mins and speaking with 8 people someone finally discontected me. They couldn't understand why i wanted to upgrade the graphic card. Anyway I'm hoping to get some help here.

Thanks for your time

oh yeah i did have one person tell me that by upgrading my system it would damage the system. My understanding of is that the motherboard will only take as much power as needed from the PSU.

@paine1031,

Your inquiry might be solved with a new Athena PSU.  Please assist the forum.

1) Unplug your power cord, and open the case.

2) Measure the PSU.

3) Go to this link and look at the measurements.

4) Report back your original measurements and which PSU matched-up.

Your answers will greatly benefit the future assistance offered to others.
