I brought my US desktop to Spain. The power supply says input 100-240v 8A 50-60Hz. Can I just use a plug adapter and plug it into a wall outlet or do I need a converter?

Hi:
If there is no toggle switch on the back of the power supply to flip from 120V to 240V, it should automatically switch with the proper power cord used in Spain.
Older power supplies normally have a little red switch near where the power cord plugs in, that you need to flip with a small screwdriver to change the voltage.
Newer ones do not have the switch.
I have some PC's that have the switch and some that don't.

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, that I do not know.
Can you do that with other US power cords for other applicances?
Aren't they rated for certain voltages?
If the cord has a tag on it, check the tag for any specs.
I've lived overseas but only where we used US electrical standards (US military facilities).
